We love making this creamy sesame milk:

1 cup unhulled organic
sesame seeds, soak overnight, then drain.

Blend in
VitaMix:
Soaked Sesame Seeds
3 squirts Sunnydew
Pinch of sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon OR tsp of Vanilla
4 cups of water

Strain in nut bag (we use bridal veil material to make them, or squares of it with rubber bands over the
mouth of a pitcher, OR you can buy a paint straining bag at any hardware store!)

Drink it right after blending for best flavor & nutritional value.
It's very high in calcium.  Keeps refrigerated for a day or two.

Nutrition:
Natural sesame seeds (unhulled) contain 5 grams of protein per ounce, 3.1 grams fiber, and 14 grams
of total fat.  Natural sesame seeds, unhulled, are high in calcium. One tablespoon provides 87.8 mg
while the hulled variety offers only 10.5 mg for that same tablespoon. Comparing sesame seeds to milk:
One cup of natural sesame seeds had 1404.0 mg of calcium, while one cup of non-fat milk provided
316.3 mg. and one cup of whole milk contained 291 mg of calcium.  When milk is homogenized it "locks
up" the calcium so it is not available, and of course most of us avoid such dairy because it is
acid-forming and can deplete calcium stores (see www.notmilk.com, "Acid Blood") - OR Drink plenty of
Calli - it is very high in available calcium and helps the body break down calcified deposits in the joints!
