How To Make A Chocolate Smoothie

Using the Vita-Mix blender, this is Chef Hana's favorite
Chocolate Smoothie recipe for
Halloween Drinks. Kids love it...give it a try

What is a Vita-Mix and why is it better than an ordinary blender? This super charged 2-horse
power blender is great for nuts and seeds. It will liquefy whatever you put into the blender and
retain more vitamins and nutrients in your smoothies. Plus, you won't have any messy pulp.

You will need: Garnish with a plastic black spider on top!

1 cup of plain yogurt
8 medium-small slices of apples
1 banana
1 tablespoon of Raw Stevia
1/8 cup of coconut, rice, or almond milk
handful 1/2 of ice cubes
1 tablespoon of powered unsweetened chocolate
Put the ingredients in your blender to make a great Chocolate Smoothie.

*Publisher's note: Get kids started on a healthy diet by allowing them access to your kitchen at
a very early age. Adding a bit of vegetable here and there is a great way to sneak in vitamins.
You can make this smoothie and add a teaspoon of fresh spinach leaves or other leafy green
because the sweetness of the other ingredients will disguise the taste of the green (if done
right). You will need to experiment at first.
