Hormones are with us at every stage of our life, teen-age through
old age. If we keep our bodies healthy with natural foods, exercise
and think positively we will feel better and be happier. I always
say take care of your body -- it's where you live.

Anti-aging has become a very big industry and there is a plethora of
products and information online. In my ten years of researching and
living a healthy lifestyle, I can say, that for hot flashes, and other
issues, the first line of defense is to detox and although your body
to balance. When I notice I am not feeling my best, I begin by doing
a one-week cleanse of natural foods. Vegetables, fruits, nuts and
smaller portions. Lots of water and fresh juice to hydrate. This
always seems to work for me. Easy, natural and healthy.

As a video producer, I have had the pleasure of working with some
of the best raw food and vegan chef in Los Angeles. I'm grateful
for all the lessons I've learned from this amazing people.  When
I visited Rawvolution in Venice, I found out about maca, an herb
from Peru with properties that balance hormones for both men
and women.
